The Teleconsultation was created so that patients can consult their doctor during this phase of the pandemic and to therefore continue caring for their health.
The Teleconsultation is available throughout the entire network of the HPA Health Group: Algarve, Alentejo and Madeira, by simply consulting the available specialties and doctors.
It is available either by telephone (Teleconsultation) or by a video call (Video Consultation).
If you have decided on a Teleconsultation: on the day of your appointment and 5 minutes before the scheduled time, you will receive a call from our Unit that will be transferred to your doctor.
If you have decided on a Video Consultation: on the day of your appointment and 5 minutes before the scheduled time, you will receive a SMS or an e-mail with a link, to access your Video Consultation and connect you with your doctor. You will receive our invoice either by e-mail or post, after your Teleconsultation with payment details.
For patients with health insurance the cost of a Teleconsultation is the same as a face-to-face appointment. Other patients must enquire on the conditions.
The HPA Health Group is liaising with all insurance companies to ensure that all its patients can benefit from co-payment of the Video Consultation.
At the moment, several companies have already agreed to the reimbursements of costs. Confirm with the Call Center in your region when you make the appointment.
