It was on May 13, 1996 that the Hospital Particular do Algarve started its activity, with the inauguration of its first unit, the Hospital Particular de Alvor.
After 24 years, the HPA Saúde Group extended its coverage to the entire Algarve, also expanding to Alentejo and Madeira, with a total of eighteen units, including hospitals and clinics.
Despite the difficult times that have been experienced in recent times, the HPA Saúde Group remains faithful to its commitments and to the implementation of the projects it has outlined for the coming months, namely the expansion of the Gambelas Private Hospital and the transformation of its clinic into Sines – CLÍDIS – also in a hospital unit.
In a statement addressed to all employees, João Bacalhau, Chairman of the Board of Directors, thanked the teams for their work and dedication to the HPA Saúde Group, allowing it to grow and consolidate.
Despite the troubled times that we all live in, we will know once again how to adapt and overcome this storm, as we have excellent professionals, human beings of great value, used to giving tests and overcoming difficult moments.
