Pediatrics is the medical specialty dedicated to the care of children and adolescents, in all aspects of preventive and curative medicine.

Prevention includes breastfeeding, immunizations (vaccines), accident prevention as well as the necessary monitoring and guidance for healthy growth and development.

Curative refers to the different procedures and treatment of the most diverse diseases in children and adolescents.

The Paediatric Unit of the Hospital Particular have a dedicated and specialized medical and nursing team of experienced professionals to take care of and treat all medical situations in children.

In addition to Pediatrics, we also offer Neonatology, a Pediatric In-Patient Unit, and daily Pediatric consultations (no appointment required).

The Paediatric Unit of the CUF Faro Hospital has 4 main areas:

Maternity (Nursery) - 24H;
In-Patient Unit;
Out-Patient Unit;
Paediatric daily consultations - 09am till 09pm
