The 5th edition of the HPA Children's Congress took place on June 14th at the University of Algarve. Under the theme "Pediatrics Beyond", the event was marked by the sharing of knowledge, reflections, and innovations in the field of Pediatrics.
Topics discussed included pediatrics in the context of technological evolution, pediatric diseases, gender identity, sexuality, and the future of pediatrics. A tribute was then paid to Dr. Maria José Guerra Pinto, who dedicated 50 years of her life to the service of the specialty.
The event concluded with a Round Table: A conversation between parents, followed by a Vox Pop where various issues and concerns of parents were discussed.
