The HPA Group has been developing, collaborating and strengthening partnerships in scientific research.
To this effect are the laboratory tests necessary for the development of the doctorate thesis of Dr. Rui Batalau which are all are performed at the Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the Group.
The scientific area of research is obesity in childhood and adolescence, associating cardiovascular risk factors, physical activity and nutrition, and also has the support of the Foundation for Science and Technology.
Within a short time, the HPA Group will provide multidisciplinary consultations in this area, the World Health Organization now considers obesity not only a disease but an Important Public Health issue.
