NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
24 Hours
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), is equipped with the most modern technology, offering differentiated care to all newborn babies, when premature or with serious health problems.
This Unit is not only available for all babies born at the CUF Faro Hospital, but also for all babies that are seen in Unscheduled Care - Paediatrics or those referred by other departments.
24 HOURS NURSERY
Besides the availability of intensive care incubators, the NICU also has an Intermediate Care Nursery, where it is possible for parents to remain with their baby at all times.
Visiting Times and Number of Visitors:
Every Wednesday and Friday from 6pm to 6:30pm.
One visitor at a time always accompanied by a parent.
