Private Ambulances
The Hospital Particular do Algarve has its own Ambulance Service.
To request ambulance transport or the cost of ambulance transport, please ring the following telephone number:
(+351) 282 420 400 This line must not be used in medical emergency situations.
Transport can be carried out on a scheduled basis in two ways: through an external telephone request, or due to an internal need for patients admitted to one of the HPA Group units. In the event that one of our patients requires an urgent transfer to another Group unit or another hospital facility, this will also be handled by our ambulance service.
Because the safety of our clients is essential, internal protocols exist for activating the transport team.
This team is made up of Patient Transport Ambulance Crew members, supported by nurses or doctors, depending on the situation.
The Ambulance Service supports all Hospitals and Clinics of the HPA Health Group. Through this service, we guarantee mobility between the Units of the Group for utmost convenience, safety and comfort of all our patients.
