Reconstructive and Functional Surgery
In the area of reconstructive surgery, we have accumulated experience in the treatment of oncological, traumatic, congenital malformations, and functional pathologies, with emphasis on:
- Upper blepharoplasty: Breast reconstruction - usually due to breast cancer (in situations of immediate reconstruction, at the same time as breast cancer surgery, or at a different time, after mastectomy), but also due to constitutional breast asymmetries, breast development malformations, or sequelae of scarred breast incarceration.
- Surgical treatment and reconstruction necessary for malignant and benign skin tumors (cutaneous oncoplastic surgery)
- Functional and traumatic pathology of the hands, with emphasis on the surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's contracture and traumatic pathology of the fingers.
- Treatment of scars and burn sequelae.

Cirurgia Reconstrutiva e Funcional
Na área da cirurgia reconstrutiva, temos experiência acumulada no tratamento de situações oncológicas, traumáticas, malformações congénitas e patologias funcionais, com destaque para:
Reconstrução mamária – habitualmente por cancro da mama (em situações de reconstrução imediata, no tempo simultâneo da cirurgia oncológica da mama, ou em tempo diferido, já após a mastectomia) mas, também, por assimetrias mamárias constitucionais, por malformações do desenvolvimento mamário ou por sequelas de encarceramento mamário cicatricial.
Tratamento cirúrgico e necessária reconstrução por tumores da pele, malignos e benignos (cirurgia oncoplástica cutânea)
Patologia funcional e traumática das mãos, com destaque para o tratamento cirúrgico da síndrome do canal (túnel) cárpico, contratura de Dupuytren e patologia traumática dos dedos
Tratamento de cicatrizes e sequelas de queimaduras.
