In all of life’s moments, birth is the most important. All those involved should therefore be surrounded by tranquillity and safety.
Aware that it is of paramount importance for professionals to be prepared to act in all unexpected situations which may occur at any time, the Maternity Team of the Gambelas Hospital organized and trained all its professionals in Obstetric Emergencies.
This training course is expected to soon be available also to professionals external to the Hospital. Simulators are used for training purposes and a wide range of emergencies and urgent situations are addressed: umbilical cord prolapsed, postpartum haemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, convultions and eclampsia.
