Sexual Dysfunction (erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation)
Primarily of a psychogenic cause, its study and diagnosis help exclude or confirm whether it is not an organic disease (arterial vascular, venous vascular, or neuropathic). Medical and surgical therapies can improve erection quality and alleviate symptoms, particularly in cases of premature ejaculation.
On the other hand, one of the treatments available for erectile dysfunction is low-intensity shockwave therapy, a non-invasive intervention with a high safety profile, where HPA has been innovative in the southern region.
Its mechanism of action is related to the recovery of vascular damage in the erectile tissue, meaning the possibility of revascularising the tissues and activating myofibroblasts, with blood flow being essential for erection.
