The HPA Health Group has implemented a new confirmation system for appointments and examinations across all its units, with the aim of making the patient experience simpler, more convenient and more efficient. This new method is designed to facilitate communication and optimise the management of bookings, ensuring a faster and more organised service.
The first step of this system involves sending an SMS, which will be received 24 hours before the scheduled appointment or examination. The message is sent from the number 927 942 403 and allows patients to immediately confirm their attendance, cancel the booking or request a rescheduling. All of this can be done directly from a mobile phone with just one click, avoiding unnecessary travel or long waiting times on the phone.
If the patient does not respond to the SMS, the second part of the system is activated: an automated call (voicebot), made from the number 291 720 250. This call enables attendance to be confirmed quickly and intuitively, strengthening communication and preventing unintentional no-shows.
