GENERAL PAEDIATRIC CONSULTATIONS
Information formThe Paediatric Out-Patients Consultation is where growth and development of children and young people up to the age of 17 and 364 days is monitored, including other problems or illnesses that are not urgent.
The main goal of these consultations is to monitor the health of children and youths, promoting health from birth to adulthood and also to anticipate possible deviations from normality with an early diagnosis.
The Paediatric Out-Patients Unit has been created and decorated exclusively with children in mind. It has its own waiting room and admission area.
The Paediatric Out-Patients Consultations are provided by resident paediatricians and complemented by additional paediatricians who have been collaborating with HPA for many years. (Meet our team)

Breastfeeding Consultation
Breastfeeding consultation is carried out by Paediatric nurses, breastfeeding counselling, with the permanent support of a Paediatrician.
This support consultation for parents and babies, is where the baby is weighed and hunger and satiety are evaluated, with the observation of feeding and nipple grip (with correction if necessary).
Its main objective is to jointly, define a plan to optimize breastfeeding.
